FacsRite
FacsRite consists of premium media discs flush-mounted and tightly secured into the base pipe. This geometry gives FacsRite maximum down hole space economy and significantly more mechanical strength than Slotted Liner (SL). Furthermore, since the media is flush with the base pipe OD, the effective OD is enlarged, thereby minimizing skin and allowing a larger OD/ID for wellbore operations than WWS.
FacsRite employs the same fusion bonded metal laminate (FBML) media widely used in premium screens but with three times the number of layers, thereby making it more robust. The open flow area (OFA) is proportional to the number of discs per foot (dpf), thereby making screen cost proportional to well productivity, which makes FacsRite cost competitive to SL and WWS on a same OFA basis. A wide range of micron ratings are available (60-600 µm) and the FBML materials can be tailored to the specific erosion/corrosion requirements of the well. FacsRite is ideal for vertical and horizontal wells, including SAGD producers/injectors. FacsRite will outperform WWS as a support screens for Gravel- and Frac-Packing. FacsRite will now make it much easier to clean and revitalize water injection wells. And because the discs can be placed anywhere on the base pipe, FacsRite can accommodate instrumentation and "shunt tubes," making it the most versatile screen on the market. And FacsRite is so robust it can be drilled into place, thereby reducing well costs. FacsRite reflects our commitment to inventing new technology to meet our client's needs.
